East Tennessee Children’s Hospital recently visited our Emergency Room team at Big South Fork Medical Center to provide pediatric emergency care training, with a focus on infant cardiac arrest.
We discussed team dynamics, medication safety and how to be better prepared for running a smoother resuscitation. Simulation training provided our team with the chance to focus on a broad range of pediatric skills pertaining to infants in order to gain exposure and practical experience of life-threatening pediatric problems.
The training session was an excellent opportunity to connect with pediatric care specialists. We pride ourselves in the high quality care we provide for our community 24/7, and we look forward to more continued education opportunities in the near future.
